Will you lend a hand and help set up or decorate, escort our visually impaired members, assist at the table side, clean up, secure opportunity drawing items, or sell See’s candy? You name it, we need you!
We need drivers for the vehicles that provide transportation for members to and from events. We have daily, weekly, monthly, and special event opportunities. When we don’t have enough drivers, some members are unable to participate in events. You don’t need a special license to operate our van or 8 passenger shuttle. Good driving record is a must.
Tuesday Night Walk Guides
Sighted guides ensure that more BCC members are able to participate in these fun walks.
Will you help our members with their many craft projects? These include beading, ceramics, loom knitting, leather crafting, copper pressing, yarn crafting, and more.
The receptionist welcomes and directs visitors and answers the phone during business hours. Two to four hour shifts are available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
We need help with sweeping, mopping and general cleaning. Anything you would clean at home, we need to clean here at the center. It’s a tough job, but very much appreciated.
